A pair of 'Halsted & Sons, Chichester' stamped cast iron troughs in great condition.
Established by Charles Halsted in around 1840, Halsted & Sons operated until 1932 forging quality metal goods. They took part in the Great Exhibition, 1851, and were known for quality farm machinery.
Both the same, they are a good size and shape and would make a lovely display.
