Atlas Mountains Mint is a rare mint. It is an upright spreading Herbaceous Perennial plant that will be best contained in a pot.
Mint Atlas Mountains has rounded green/grey hairy leaves and is very attractive when grown as a foliage plant as its overall effect is that of a soft blue/green it has spikes of mauve flowers in late summer which are very attractive to bees and butterflies. It is hardy down to a cold winter having come from the mountains.
Raised in an organic and peat-free environment, grow in moist soil in full sun. To prevent mint becoming invasive, plant in containers or use deep containers and plunge these into the soil. Will reach a height of around 50cm and spread up to 150cm.
